ROCKET SCIENTISTS To Perform At Mexico's BAJA PROG XII

Acclaimed American progressive rock band ROCKET SCIENTISTS will perform at the world-renowned progressive rock festival Baja Prog XII in Mexicali, Mexico on Thursday, March 27, 2008. The band will take the stage from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ROCKET SCIENTISTS' core members Erik Norlander, Mark McCrite and Don Schiff will appear at the festival along with select guest musicians, including symphonic rock diva Lana Lane and guitarist Jim Williams.

Baja Prog XII will be hosted at the Teatro Del Estado (The State Theatre) on Boulevard Lopez Mateos in Mexicali, Mexico. The event begins with an opening night party on Tuesday, March 25 and continues for four consecutive days through March 29 with 20 bands and fans from all over the world.

In January, 2008, ROCKET SCIENTISTS released their first box set, entitled "Looking Backward", a five-disc collection containing remastered versions of their first three studio albums, "Earthbound", "Brutal Architecture" and "Oblivion Days", along with a fourth audio CD of new recordings of classic ROCKET SCIENTISTS songs reinterpreted by the band in 2007. The fifth disc is a DVD-9 containing video of the 2007 sessions along with extensive interviews and historical archive footage from sessions going back to 1993.
